Sunflower Festival at Holland Ridge Farms

Updated: Oct 1, 2019

The Sunflower Festival at Holland Ridge Farms in Cream Ridge is one of our favorite fall festivals in the state. With over 3 million seeds planted across 4 acres of land, the abundance of vibrant sunflowers reminds you why New Jersey is called the Garden State. You can even pick your own sunflowers while walking the grounds at $1 a stem! The festival also pays tribute to the art of Vincent Van Gogh, specifically his sunflower paintings. If you, like Van Gogh, "find comfort in contemplating the sunflowers" you can join a painting activity in the field and bring home a piece of your very own art.

The farm is located in Central Jersey and is easily accessible from the Turnpike. Once taking exit 7A, its a beautiful ride through the rolling hills of the countryside. At the festival you will find an abundance of other activities, including corn mazes, hayrides, pumpkin picking & pony rides, making it a great way to spend a fall day.
