Being in the presence of a Clydesdale is truly a remarkable thing, but the opportunity to ride one made for a magical and unique afternoon. Their large stature, even by horse standards, is truly magnificent. After driving through the gorgeous winding roads of Morris County, we made our way to Willow Grove Farm where we prepared for a peaceful ride through the wooded trails. Willow Grove Farm, in Long Valley, has become one of the largest breeding and training facilities of Clydesdale horses on the East Coast. The farm has over 30 Clydesdale horses and they offer guided trail rides as well as wagon rides. Watch our video below to learn more about our experience!
