Laurita Winery is nestled in the countryside of Central NJ on a beautiful piece of land. The winery is picturesque with rolling vineyards and a country-chic tasting room. The tasting room, which also houses the cafe and event space, is made from two 150 year-old barns. The back patio of the tasting room overlooks the vineyards and is a great place to enjoy a cheese platter and a bottle of wine.
Laurita is a great winery to visit if you’re looking to enjoy a relaxing afternoon in a peaceful atmosphere, or if you want to attend a fun event on the weekend. They host a lot of events, like Food Trucks & Fire Pits, an Irish Fest and a Bacon Fest, which are all a great time. The Bacon Fest is a favorite of ours with rows of food trucks, live music and, most importantly, a mechanical pig. Yes, you read that right, a mechanical pig! If there is anything cooler than a mechanical bull, it is a mechanical pig.
Two Dopes Tip: Depending on the type of experience you want to have, check their website for upcoming events and book your tickets in advance (they sell out quickly!). If you want a more low-key experience, you'll want to scope out when the winery will be fest-free!
