Halifax is located at the W Hoboken and the dining room has spectacular views of the NYC skyline. We stopped by to check out this spot, which is named for the capital of Nova Scotia and is known for its brunch & epic Bloody Mary bar! Seriously, who doesn’t love Bloody Mary bar? We filled out our menu card, making our selections of the booze, the base, the spices and of course, the fixins! Luckily for us dopes there is a huge variety of toppings, ranging from classics like celery sticks & pickles to more gourmet selections of smoked salmon, oyster on the half shell & salami wrapped mozzarella.
The brunch consist of a variety of small plates that are available a la carte or as part of their bottomless brunch menu. The dishes are created around sustainable ingredients that can be
sourced locally from local farmers and fishermen and you can taste the dedication to freshness and flavors in each dish.
We devoured the Challah French Toast with maple whipped cream, the Smoked Mac & Cheese, Beef Sliders & the Seafood Ceviche. The standouts for us were the Challah French Toast, which was super flavorful and the Beef Sliders, which were no nonsense straightforward delicious sliders.
