Black-Eyed Susans: Black-Eyed Susans is a chic, stylish BYOB restaurant with a great menu. They add a quirky and delicious flair to favorite American food. The scallops are creatively served with sun chokes, fava beans and radish and are seared to perfection. These scallops are easily some of the best we’ve ever had, and we’ve had lots of scallops! They also have a flair for pickling here, and the appetizer with pickled beets, farmers cheese, green olive and pistachio was pickled perfection!

YellowFin: YellowFin has a small, mirror lined dining room that creates the most intimate dining experience. This BYOB serves some great upscale seafood, pork and duck dishes. Its a great place for an intimate celebration or a romantic date night. While we have yet to make a bad choice at Yellow Fin, our Dope Recommendation is to try the Tuna Pizza, which is typically a staple on the Special's Menu. Sliced, seared ahi tuna on a thin, cracker like crust with avocado, red onion wasabi sauce and capers.

The Sandbox Café: The wait at the Sandbox Cafe in Ship Bottom is always long, so be prepared to take a relaxing stroll on the beach to pass time before your table is ready. The wait, no matter how long, is worth it. The restaurant is outdoor seating only, so make sure you visit on a beautiful day. The vibe is reminiscent of Key West, as it overflows with plants, fountains and beach knick knacks.

Daddy O: Daddy O has LBI meets New York vibes and is a great spot to grab speciality cocktails and some delicious apps in a trendy place. They make the best dirty martini on the island (& they even have blue cheese stuffed olives!). In addition to the indoor setup, they have a rooftop and outdoor bar. The outdoor bar is our favorite spot to hit after spending the morning on the beach.

The Chicken or The Egg: If you’re a fan of the food network, chances are you’ve watched an episode spent at The Chicken or The Egg. With an energetic, hip, surfer vibe, unlike any other, the CHEGG is often at the top of many NJ food lists. Always packed, always delicious and always worth the wait. The sauces are incredible and the chicken wings are HUGE and perfect. The Ludicrous wings (which we’re too wimpy to try) are notoriously spicy and equally as legendary.

These sweet-style wings have sesame, harissa yogurt, crumbled bleu cheese, and scallions. The staff at Tuckers are also among the

friendliest on the island.
