Pizza-Grill.Com is the Bomb Dot Com

We had to stop by Pizza-Grill.com of Hamilton, NJ to check our their famous Corleone Style Pizza, which has a history just as rich as it’s sauce! The recipe was brought to New Jersey from Sicily by Pizza-Grill’s very own Marcello Mandreucci. As a young boy, Marcello was infatuated with this very special pizza that was made by a man from a neighboring town, Corleone. Years later, the recipe was given to Marcello with the promise of never using it until the man passed away. The man has since passed & Marcello honors him by making his legendary pizza.

The Corleone pizza is made with a few different types of flours, a blend of three different cheeses and imported tomatoes & oregano from Italy. This square pie is not as thick and dense as a typical Sicilian pie and once you bite into it, you know it is truly something special. Pizza-Grill is take out only, so be sure to plan ahead or be prepared to eat in your car. We picked up a few pies and brought them to the Tir na nOg, which is 15 minutes up the road in Trenton, although we couldn't resist the temptation and finished off one of the pies in the car on our way over!
