This gem of a donut shop usually has a line down the block, and with good reason! The menu is constantly changing and it often includes show-stoppers like the  Vermont Swine Donut, with maple icing & bacon bits or the  Everthang Donut with cream cheese icing, garlic, poppy, onion, salt & sesame seeds. While the quirky flavors and combinations are incredible, more classic combinations are available as well, like the Bed Rockin’ Donut with vanilla icing & fruity pebbles.

Shore Good Donuts

Shore Good Donuts is all about made-to-order donuts. You can create your own masterpiece based off of the available toppings & frostings, or you can order right from their menu. They make traditional cake-style donuts and boy are they delicious. The standouts for us were the Key Lime donut, the Oreo donut and the classic vanilla donut with sprinkles.

Location: Multiple shops across Long Beach Island and Manahawkin.

OB-CO Donuts

OB-CO Donuts has been a staple at the Jersey Shore for over 60 years and they’re still using their original donut recipe.  This stand opens daily at 5:00am and stays open for as long as it takes to sell all of the donuts made for the day.  The signature donut is the sugar-raised, but some of our other favorites include the chocolate cake donut, cinnamon croissant donut and the jelly donut. Two Dopes Tip: You also want to try their crumb cakes while you’re there, they’re awesome!

Purple Glaze Donuts

Purple Glaze, all in our brains!  This donut shop in sells an extensive selection of vegan donuts, as well as traditional and over-the-top decadent donuts. The go-to donuts for us at Purple Glaze are off of their Fancy & Filled Menu. Some of our favorites are the Holey Cannoili donut with chocolate icing, chocolate chips and cannoli filling and the French Toast Donut with cinnamon, sugar, cream cheese filling & maple drizzle.
